Request deletion
The primary deletion path is inside the Petable app: open Profile, tap Settings, then tap Delete account. The app asks for confirmation, removes stored user photos where technically possible, and then deletes the account and associated database records.
If you cannot access the app, email delete@petable.app from the email address connected to your Petable account. Include your Petable username, account email, and a short statement that you want your account deleted. We may ask for confirmation to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.
What is deleted or anonymized
- Your profile, account identifiers, avatar, authentication-linked profile data, and private account metadata.
- Your sightings, comments, reactions, notifications, device tokens, and stored user photos where technically possible.
- Content may be anonymized rather than deleted where required for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or database integrity.
Timeline
In-app deletion is designed to complete immediately after confirmation. Verified email requests are processed manually, and we aim to complete them within 30 days. Some backups, logs, or fraud-prevention records may remain for a limited period before routine deletion or expiry.
